An update

Since we live so far away from our families, we've been taking weekly belly pictures and e-mailing them to our loved ones so they can follow along with my growing tummy. Today I was looking through those pictures and enjoyed comparing the ones where I was wearing the same shirt. So fun to see the baby grow!

I have been truly blessed with an amazing pregnancy - I still have not experienced any swelling or heartburn, no nausea since the first trimester, very little pain and discomfort and I'm still sleeping through the night! Granted, I'm sure these last 6 weeks will be the hardest, but I am in no hurry for this pregnancy to be over. It has been the most amazing experience of my life and I am so thankful for it!

Preparation-wise, we are just about all ready for our little baby to come! Other than the crib, which we'll be picking up at the store in the new few days, we've got everything we need. We FINALLY decided on both a boy's name and a girl's name last night - definitely one of the more difficult decisions in our marriage thus far ;)

As for other things going on in our lives, for those of you who don't know, Jason and I made the decision to stay in College Station until after the baby is born. We found a great deal on an awesome apartment that we moved into last month - there's enough bedrooms for a nursery AND a guest room, which will be great for all our visitors. Jason has been working 10-12 hour days, 7 days a week trying to finish up his Ph.D. before the baby comes. We would definitely appreciate prayers that he will accomplish this!

I am still working part time and will continue to do so for as long as I feel comfortable - hopefully at least another 3 or 4 weeks.

That's about all that's new around here. I'll post pictures of the nursery once we get it all set up!

So glad to see an update. You look so good and I am glad you are feeling good with no heartburn and still sleeping. Praise the Lord. Hope Jason’s work schedule goes well and that he has the endurance to make it. Keep us posted. We are so excited for you two!
