I am very happy to say that the baby's room is finally done. It is nothing fancy... I am certainly no interior decorator and never had any lofty ambitions for this nursery. Since we will only be in this apartment for a few more months, we never planned on painting the walls or doing any major projects in the room. We just wanted it to be a cheery, comfy place for us and the baby to spend our time. Also, we're on a rather tight budget at the moment so I made all the decorations myself and scored some great deals on Craigslist. All in all, I'm really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to bring our baby home to his/her new room!
The artwork above the crib are collages I made and wrote about in an earlier post.
I am so thrilled about the glider and ottoman - really wanted them for the nursery but just couldn't justify paying full price. Found this very gently used set for 1/3 the cost!
This is Chocolate, Jason's childhood teddy bear, testing out our car seat.
